- Perform Workout A on 3 non-consecutive days per week (i.e. M, F)
- Perform Workout B on 2 non-consecutive days per week (i.e. Tu, Thurs)
- Perform 1 Active Rest activity 1-2 times a week (i.e. Wed, Sun)

Be sure to warm up & cool down 5-10 min before and after each workout.

Perform each exercise for 1 min. each w/no rest between all 5 exercises. Once you’ve completed all 5 exercises, rest for 90 sec & repeat. Perform 5 rounds.

1. Kettlebell or dumb bell swings

2. Fast Step Ups (Quickly run up and down, in place, on 1 stair step or a curb. Move your arms as you run in place)

3. Dips (for the more advanced: Plyo Dips)

4. Kettlebell or Dumb bell Farmers Walk (use stairs/football field/track/perimeter of backyard, hills, etc.)
(Keep your shoulders pulled down and pulled bacxk, as you farmer’s walk. Also, keep your abs engageds, and your steps shorts and quick)

5. Static Leg Lift 
(lie flat on the floor w/hands flat on the floor, near your butt. With both legs together, lift your legs a couple of inches off the floor, while engaging your abs/squeezing your butt/ & keeping your lower back and shoulders on the floor. Do not hold your breath!

Ruger LCR-22

Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Touted as “America’s No. 1 .22,” Ruger reintroduced its famous 10/22 semi-auto as a takedown rifle earlier this year, and it was met with glowing reviews. The 10/22 Takedown is easy to disassemble and put back together, making it incredibly portable — and it’s super accurate too — and with its two-piece, black stock and stainless steel barrel, it’s certainly a treat for the eyes.

Ruger 22/45 Lite

With a gold-anodized aluminum finish, this futuristic-looking trail gun almost looks like something out of Star Wars. The Ruger 22/45 Lite features fully adjustable target-type sights, along with a threaded barrel that accepts suppressors (where legal, of course).

Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 MOE

Smith & Wesson made big news years ago when it introduced a .22-caliber version its M&P15 rifle, the M&P15-22. Now, the rimfire AR is available with Magpul MOE furniture. Our sister magazine, Petersen’s RifleShooter, labeled this rifle its favorite tactical .22, and for good reason: It’s lightweight, reliable and functions exactly the same as a standard 5.56-chambered AR.

Smith & Wesson M&P22

Available with 10- or 12-round magazines, the Smith & Wesson M&P22 is everything a shooter should expect from S&W’s M&P centerfire series. With a magazine disconnect safety and an ambidextrous thumb safety, the M&P22 is an excellent learning tool for young or inexperienced shooters, and of course, it’s a joy to shoot.

Taurus Tracker 992

Taurus calls its Tracker 992 double-action revolver ”the most versatile Tracker ever,” due to its easily removable cylinder, transforming it from a .22 LR to a .22 Mag. with just the push of a button. The Tracker 992 features a transfer bar mechanism, which prevents hammer striking unless the trigger is pulled completely to the rear, along with Taurus’ signature rubber grip and the Taurus Security System.

Umarex USA .22LR UZI

Umarex USA will be importing .22LR semi-automatic pistols and rifles based on the famous UZI submachine gun. These rimfire guns are branded IWI, which is the original UZI maker, but they are manufactured by Carl Walther in Germany. The rifle, modeled after the UZI carbine, includes a folding stock and faux suppressor. The pistol, based on the Micro UZI, will accept the same 20-round magazines as the rifle. Umarex will also be shipping a replica of a Colt 1911 semi-auto designed to shoot .22.

Will ammunition be the new currency after the Apocalypse?

So what should we be saving up right now that will actually be of value to us after the Apocalypse? I mean planning ahead with your survival gear and survival kits is good temporarily but when you run out of all your resources you will need to learn to barter and trade with others to get what you need.

We all know that all the valuable gold and paper money we’ve been saving will no longer have any significance once Doomsday is upon us.

The most important currency will be the ability for people to be able to survive on their own and learn to create value by providing services and manufactured goods for others.

So that leads us to my topic. What about ammo? Should you start buying and stocking ammunition now? Desired items like ammunition will be easier to transport, store, have a longer shelf life and have more value than gold or worthless dollars you may have in your savings.

Ammunition will become a necessary item for people who want to protect their stuff and be able to hunt to feed themselves. So it seems obvious that you should start buying a crap load of ammo!! ^__^

The best thing about ammo is that it will still be useful in the Apocalypse, it’s easy to carry on a person, it’s easily divisible thus making it easier to do transactions with.

Ammunition has an average shelf life of 50 years

According to one site the following amounts of ammunition are recommended for personal use.

• 9mm – 5,000 rounds
• .223 – 10,000 to 15,000 rounds
• 12 gauge – 5,000 to 10,000 bird shot,
• 12 gauge – 1,000 to 2,500 00buck
• 12 gauge – 500 to 1,000 slugs
• .308 – 5,000 to 10,000 rounds

According to the value today, those rounds would cost:

• 9mm – 5,000 rounds = $1,250
• .223 – 10,000 to 15,000 rounds = $3,500 – $5,250
• 12 gauge – 5,000 to 10,000 bird shot = $2,250 – $4,500
• 12 gauge – 1,000 to 2,500 00buck = $900 – $2,250
• 12 gauge – 500 to 1,000 slugs = $450 – $900

My Mossberg Tactical .22 Rifle

How to make your AR Style Tactical Rifle more intimidating

I recently purchased a Mossberg Tactical .22 rifle as my backup weapon for survival. It is a small caliber long range rifle good for hunting small game and also can deter bad guys if needed. Definitely not a bad choice and better in a stealth survival situation especially when equipped with subsonic ammo. And speaking of ammo, .22LR ammo is uber cheap so you can have lots of fun at the gun range. ^__^
