Sophia Bush w/ Shotgun — The Hitcher

I’ve been doing some extensive research on shotguns, handguns and rifles recently and these are some of my top favorite “somewhat affordable” guns for home defense and apocalypse survival. Again, please note, I am no expert but I believe these are very useful against hordes of undead zombies, raged grizzly bears, alien space invaders and most of all from stupid human beings in life and death situations. ^__^

The Shotgun — Mossberg 930SPX

This by far is my favorite shotgun and it’s a bang for the buck. At around $669 the Mossberg 930 Special Purpose Autoloading Shotgun features 18 1/2″ barrel, picatinny rail, magazine extension, ghost ring rear sight and a full length black synthetic stock with a pistol grip.

Did I mention it’s a semi-auto? ^__^

For about $1000 you can get this bad boy. An AR-15 style rifle is great for urban city environments and hold a lot of ammo. It has a pretty decent range and due to it’s power and accuracy is a must have in your arsenal of weapons for the Post-Apocalypse.

The Handgun/Pistol — Smith & Wesson M&P .40

Another must have weapon is a trusty handgun/pistol. At a cost of around $450 I choose the Smith & Wesson M&P .40 You should know by now that I’m all about the American made stuff. lol. If you’re not a good shot I would recommend opting for the 9mm. It holds more rounds and ammo is cheaper. But I personally love the look of this gun and many have said it’s the “Perfection” that Glock should have been. I mean M & P does stand for Magnificent & Perfection. ^__~
